Established in 2022, Milne & Pickles brings farmhouse and artisan cheese to Peebles alongside a curated selection of wines. With our passion for good food, we offer an extensive selection of British and European cheese to help everyone enjoy the finer things in life.

We are open Tuesday – Saturday each week.
In our small café, we serve cheese and charcuterie platters, sourdough toasties, homemade quiche, soups, locally roasted coffee, a curated selection of wines, sweet treats and giftware.
It is possible to simply ‘walk-in’ but we recommend booking in advance, especially on Friday evenings and Saturdays.
Dogs are always welcome to join us too!

Our Origins
Milne & Pickles arrived in Peebles in the summer of 2022. Our story started as school friends from the Scottish Borders, who had gone on to pursue careers in marketing and healthcare in Scotland and further afield. Then the Covid pandemic became the impetus to turn our dream into a new venture.
Over long walks and late night chats, we transformed our ideas into a new opportunity. We wanted to create a unique offering here in Peebles, an alternative to pubs and more traditional local dining experiences. Our love of great food and drink would become a chance to showcase the finest cheese, charcuterie and wines from small scale producers.
With seasonal variations and regular new items, we focus on creating a cosy atmosphere with a warm welcome and fantastic products.
